The Barn
Entering into the vast open plan kitchen/dining area you immediately notice the quality with the glass paneled staircase in front of you, granite work-surfaces of the kitchen and beautiful shower-room to your left. The kitchen is generously equipped, including all the modern conveniences and a pleasure to cook in, this opens out to the dining area with spacious table and follows round to the lounge, which includes flat-screen digital TV, plenty of comfortable seating and access to the patio. The shower-room with large 1.2m shower, WC and basin is beautifully tiled. At the top of the landing is the beautifully presented bathroom including bath with handheld shower, WC and basin. To the right is the large master bedroom with king-size bed, TV, dresser and wardrobe. On the opposite side of the landing is the second bedroom including twin beds with pullout option for 3 or 4 singles to sleep up to 6 (the downstairs sofa bed can sleep the 6 in a different sleeping configuration if required). This spacious second bedroom also includes a dresser, TV and wardrobe.
The Location
You have great access to all corners of Kent from this central location – within a 30 minute drive of most of Kent’s many attractions. Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Sissinghurst gardens to name but a few. The villages of Bethersden and Woodchurch are within 5 minutes by car and offer pubs serving food, butchers shops, village stores and post office facilities. Woodchurch is even walkable via country footpaths. A good sand beach is Camber near to Rye, both are worth a visit and a lovely 30 minute drive. The award winning village of Woodchurch with its windmill, Rare Breeds Centre, 2 pubs and selection of shops as well as nearby Tenterden, which is great for restaurants, pubs, boutiques and coffee shops are both well worth exploring.
