The Location
The village of Northbourne is 2 miles to the West of Eastry which offers a range of shops including a bakery and 3 miles to the West of the historic town of Deal with its own castle, supermarkets and narrow streets with a range of pubs, restaurants and antique shops. The local pub offers a good range of services and has a popular restaurant. World renown Canterbury, Sandwich, Margate, Broardstairs and Ramsgate are all within a 20 minute drive. Howletts Zoo is a must see for kids and Dover Castle with its underground war rooms a very intersting day out. St Margarets bay and Pegwell bay where the Vikings first landed are withing very easy reach.
